Visiting GreenTech: inspiration, innovation and connection

Visiting GreenTech: inspiration, innovation and connection

A few weeks ago, two of our colleagues visited GreenTech Amsterdam – the international trade fair for horticultural technology. With hundreds of exhibitors and a strong focus on innovation, engineering and sustainability, it was the ideal setting to explore new developments and strengthen existing relationships.

At SchermNed, staying up to date with the latest technologies in greenhouse horticulture is essential. GreenTech provides valuable insights into the challenges and trends shaping the industry – from climate control and crop monitoring to sustainable energy and greenhouse design. Although our expertise lies in screen systems and insect netting, we believe in the power of collaboration. Our solutions must integrate seamlessly into the overall greenhouse concept. That’s why we actively look beyond the scope of our own work – both literally and figuratively.

Our colleagues visited several partners and suppliers, gathered inspiration for future projects and engaged with customers and peers from the sector. They returned with new insights and ideas that help us continue working smarter, safer and more sustainably. “The combination of technical innovation and practical application makes a visit to GreenTech truly worthwhile.” Throughout 2025, we will continue to attend various trade fairs to expand our knowledge and connect with both new and existing partners.
