Second screen installation mounted at Maatschap R.A.A.M. Janssen
At Maatschap R.A.A.M. Janssen Paprika's in Nootdorp, Reinier Janssen and his son Gijs have had a second screen installation mounted under the current one by SchermNed. They are part of one of the largest growers' cooperatives in the Netherlands, Oxin Growers.

At Reinier and Gijs' greenhouse, they have chosen to grow a particular variety of red peppers. Their peppers are partially exported to America and the rest are destined for sale in the Netherlands.
Expanding the screen installation
To expand their screen installation, they chose Ludvig Svensson's LUXOUS 1147 FR fabric. The ideal screen for saving energy both during the day and at night, combined with high light transmission.
This type of screen cloth provides more light without sacrificing energy savings. This creates a better growing climate in winter times and with a screen that can remain closed for more hours during the day.
