New Innovative Project in Progress at Wijnen Amaryllis Innovation

New Innovative Project in Progress at Wijnen Amaryllis Innovation

We are currently installing screen systems at two locations for Wijnen Amaryllis Innovation, each with a different starting point but one shared ambition: a future-proof and energy-efficient greenhouse climate aligned with the transition to sustainable heating.

At the first location, an existing screen installation was already in place. Here, a cavity screen is added beneath the existing system. This solution is realised using the ValkScreenVision extender and an additional installed underwire, with the underwire of the upper screen functioning as the lift wire for the cavity screen. As a result, both screens can be operated synchronously via a single drive system, creating additional insulation without major modifications to the existing installation.

At the second location, no screen installation was present yet. Here, we are installing a complete push-pull screen system, with the cavity screen integrated directly beneath the main screen. The ValkScreenVision extender is also applied at this location, ensuring both screens function together as one integrated system.

A cavity screen provides additional insulation in the greenhouse and helps reduce heat loss. This is particularly important as Wijnen Amaryllis Innovation is upgrading the heating installation to a heat pump system in parallel with these projects. At lower supply temperatures, retaining heat efficiently becomes essential. The selected screen solutions support this transition and contribute to a stable and energy-efficient greenhouse climate, highlighting the importance of custom solutions and carefully considered technical choices.
