SchermNed is taking a new path with the acquisition of Alsemgeest screening installations

Since Monday April 15, SchermNed has been taking a new path with the takeover of Alsemgeest screening installations. A company that has many years of relationships in horticulture, garden centers and non-residential construction, including maintenance contracts. This takeover brings together a broad and experienced team of professionals, ranging from mechanics, work planners, executors and sales executives, all with an affinity and heart for horticulture.

The acquisition will broaden relationships in different crops at SchermNed. It will result in a healthier relationship in terms of both vegetables and flowers and plants.

The acquisition offers Alsemgeest customers a more comprehensive package of solutions, products and services, including expert advice on organic cultivation. Whereas Alsemgeest previously did not supply insect mesh systems, customers can now make use of SchermNed's extensive range, including the unique insect mesh filter system. This helps maintain the ideal climate in greenhouses and supports environmentally conscious choices for crop protection. With a dedicated team of professionals and a large network within the horticultural sector, SchermNed is ready to offer existing and new customers the best service.

Increase service levels and broaden service offerings
