A Behind-the-Scenes Visit to Ridder Group

A Behind-the-Scenes Visit to Ridder Group

Last week, a team from SchermNed visited the headquarters of Ridder Group in Harderwijk. At the invitation of Joachim Keus, we were given a valuable look into the technology, production, and vision of one of our trusted suppliers.

The day began with a presentation on Ridder’s latest developments, including smart solutions for greenhouse automation, system integration, and sustainability. An inspiring look at the future of horticulture with plenty of overlap with our own day-to-day work. This was followed by an extensive tour through the production halls, warehouse, and assembly department. A true behind-the-scenes experience that provided great insight for our colleagues in planning, project preparation, execution, and sales. It offered a clear view of the processes and components that come together in our projects every day. To round off the day, we boarded a traditional Botter for a beautiful boat trip on the waters around Harderwijk. With a skipper at the helm, we enjoyed stories, great views and of course, some food and drinks.

A big thank you to Joachim and the entire Ridder Group team for the hospitality and enjoyable day. It was great to get to know each other better outside the usual project setting and to keep building toward innovative solutions for the sector, together.
