On 28 February 1990, Cock van der Voort started out in his own garage at home in Naaldwijk. He decided to apply his technical knowledge and years of experience to building a business of his own. Despite having three children and the security of a permanent job, he decided to go for it and set up SchermNed. Through trial and error, it eventually became a great success.  

Business parks are well known for their functional and utilitarian design, i.e., as many parking spaces as possible and minimal maintenance. In Westland, as a municipality, but also as individuals, we have a responsibility to make a greener contribution to improving the flora and fauna.

Deco Harmony is an atmosphere-enhancing climate screen for garden centres, but would also fit perfectly in a logistics or processing area at the grower’s premises. This screen offers a better indoor climate in combination with a nice environment.

SchermNed will also be present at the Horticontact trade fair 2022. We look forward to welcoming you at stand m130.  Horticontact is the largest trade fair for greenhouse horticulture in the Netherlands.

We are very proud to present our expansion: an additional building at a location that is perfect for us! Because our 2 family businesses SchermNed & Vitrona are developing so well, we were looking for more space to realise our expansion with both companies. We have succeeded in a grandiose manner, with a new building directly adjacent to our existing premises!
