Harmonica netting versus Insect Filter System

As a result of environmental protection regulations and virus transmission, mesh in vents are a hot item right now. Harmonica netting and Insect Filter are the two most obvious options for this. 

Wijnen Square Crops turned to SchermNed for the insect filter system for their 9 ha of lit-cultivation mini cucumbers. The diseases and pests in lit-cultivation mini cucumbers - mainly aphids (in relation to virus), bugs, caterpillars and thrips - are quite a challenge in this regard. With the insect filter, Wijnen is hoping for less chemical pest control, better biological balance and zero to minimal failures due to virus infestations.
