Another wonderful screen and mesh project at our 'west' neighbors
In Suffolk England, SchermNed has successfully completed another unique project. The Suffolk region near the town of Ipswisch is known as the glass city of England, something that we as a Westland company immediately feel a connection with.

Century-old building
The roof of the more than 140-year-old building is mostly glass. Under the glass roof, each auditorium has been given a glass atrium in the ceiling. By applying a double and moving screen above the glass atrium, good light control can be achieved in the halls. This also ensures that the works of art in the building are well protected from daylight.

Optimal energy-dense finishes
We installed over 3.2 hectares of new flame retardant climate screens. PARperfect assumes a combination of at least two screens. At Hendriks Young Plants, the Harmony PARperfect climate screen was combined with a screen to reduce light emissions at night. “We chose an optimal energy sealing SchermNed plastisol finish instead of strips. Besides, it looks super sleek and neat,” says Carl Stougie (SchermNed).
