At Maatschap R.A.A.M. Janssen Paprika's in Nootdorp, Reinier Janssen and his son Gijs had a second screen installation assembled under the current installation by SchermNed. They are part of one of the largest growers' cooperatives in the Netherlands, Oxin Growers.
Reinier and Gijs have chosen to grow a specific variety of red bell peppers in their greenhouse. Some of their peppers are exported to America, and the rest are destined for sale in the Netherlands.
Expansion of the screen installation
For the expansion of their screen installation, they chose LUXOUS 1147 FR from Ludvig Svensson. The ideal screen to save energy both during the day and at night, combined with high light transmission.
This type of screen provides more light without compromising on energy savings. This creates a better growth climate in winter times and with a screen that can remain closed for more hours during the day.
