SchermNed 32 years

On 28 February 1990, Cock van der Voort started out in his own garage at home in Naaldwijk. He decided to apply his technical knowledge and years of experience to building a business of his own. Despite having three children and the security of a permanent job, he decided to go for it and set up SchermNed. Through trial and error, it eventually became a great success.  

Now, 32 years later, SchermNed is known as a trusted family business in screen installations and insect netting, both in the Netherlands and around the world. Although we no longer work from home (although working from home is the new 1990 :)) we are still based in Naaldwijk. 
 
The next generation of Van der Voortjes is now at the helm, together with a great team and sister company, Vitrona. The same values are still applied today: short lines of communication, excellent product and market knowledge, a focus on honest and pleasant collaboration, and always aiming for the highest quality. Onwards to number 33 and a new year in which we can make even more wonderful memories, see opportunities, and realise fantastic projects!
